Ten rules for writing fiction 1

I’ve read this before but only now does it make sense. Apparently the first 12 years are the worse. Discipline trumps inspiration and interesting verbs are seldom very¬†interesting.

As for editing: Cut until you can cut no more. What is left often springs into life.
